Rolingstone is a village founded by luxembourger immigrants 1850. Some of the old people still speak luxemburgish. Others bring their treasures of the inherited goods into an old stone house, used as a museum. The way of building with stone is typical for luxemburgish farmhouses but in America, there exist only wooden barns. Their proudness of luxemburgish roots shine still today into the daily engagement. Like beeing farmers, who are trying to hold up the farm descending from their luxemburgish ancestors facing the high taxes. It is beautiful to see how there are people holding up with their past and to a little country they could never go where we Luxemburgers try hold up with the international network and forget that they are actually descending farmers who are waring costumes and working for big companies or the bank.
