"Dialogues Pompeians, art, time and works" is a location for exhibitions and cultural events, by Franco Cipriano, inaugurating "SENSES, creative languages", a new promotional space for contemporary art in Pompeii , directed by Giuseppe Scagliarini. The SENSES initiatives promote a reflection on the aesthetic crossroads, historian and critic of the relationship between forms of the classic memory and contemporary languages. Questioning the possibility of the 'signs of the ancient dialogue' with plural expressions of contemporary art and culture, it operates in the interaction between memory and the present, 'exposing' the expressive languages in their multiple projections of meaning, between imagination and de-construction, citation and reworking of the forms.
APPEARANCES is the inaugural exhibition of the project, with works by two young artists from Campania and a French photographer: John Alfano, Lucia Schettino, Martial Verdier.
