Jacek Opała – JO , 1970 , a sculptor born in Poland in Bolesławiec - town of the ceramic. He drained clay from mother’s milk. He is the international competitions winner. He makes absolutely unique ceramic sculptures from chamotte , glazed clay. The most are a kind of two different worlds or forms combination. His inspirations are classical sculptores or i.a. Mitoraj’s big works (like he was born in Poland and had no Artschool ). Tries to capture and close emotions in immobile form. He makes gypsum mould first and then each of works performes separately and uniquely, using this mould. Glazes and burns sculptures in a kiln in over 1000 Celsius deg. He sometimes connects his works with his photography.
