The egocentricity is a typical feature of the childish behavior. The child believes that all his needs are due to him and that the satisfaction of his own needs is the only important thing; this represents the normal circumstance for children in general. In the adult age the tendency to egocentricity generally remains. There are some situations, in the lifetime, in which we are inclined to egocentricity, especially in case of great sufferings or consistent emotive fervor situations. In most cases the disagreement between adult people is not created by a linguistic misunderstanding but by their egocentrism. The egocentric person does not arise the problem of the misunderstanding of his way of communicating. In accordance with the egocentric person there is only his way of thinking, of feeling, of having his same objectives, hopes, aspirations, fears and certainties. For all these reasons, when we tend to exaggerate our personality, trying to share it with others, we can actually speak of dysfunction. In this situation, communication, empathy and willingness to listen the other do not really exist. Hence, the egocentric person is intended to break up its relationships and to remain alone.
