The series of this double diptych entitled "The Bride" withdraws the profile of two women, one in the foreground and the other in the background, that melt together. The close up of the young woman is born from a radiography of the skull of my daughter, which I elaborated it, revealing the elegant and sophisticated, "ancient" details of her profile and pose. The woman on the background instead is the image of a face of one painting of mine, today completely changed and that therefore, as it is now, existing only in photography. The atmosphere is "ancient" and modern at the same time.
