The theme of the Cedefop Photomuseum Award was linked to the importance of lifelong learning and the significance of work as a means of personal development.
The jury meeting for the Cedefop Photomuseum Award 2012 was held on Monday the 25th of February 2013. The Jury members were: Elina Heikka (Director of The Finnish Museum of Photography), Jennifer Trausch (Director of Photography of Impossible Works), Simon Edwards (representative of Photomed Festival), Isabel Dreyer and Christian Lettmayr (Cedefop representatives), Vangelis Ioakimidis (TMP representative).
President of this year’s committee was Ms. Elina Heikka.
From the seven shortlisted the following three were distinguished:
The first prize was awarded to Cetinbostanoglu Aydin (Turkey) for his project ‘’ Diary of a village doctor’’, the second distinction was given to Dostalkova Daniela (Czech Republic) for her project ‘’ The Process of Measuring’’ and the third to Hehmann Kerstin (Germany) for her project ’’The Games of Others – visiting a LAN party for parents, 2010R43;.
