Focus is an experimental series which pushes the philosophies of the Forma series even further. Distilling the subject matter to its most basic elements: color and shape, one is invited and challenged to explore an alternate perspective of the world around them. Texture and structural context is completely removed, pushing the viewer to rely solely on the emotional impact of the piece without the aid of any preconceived notions or knowledge of the world that has been altered in the frame.
The Focus series aims to answer one very simple question: Can you identify with an image when everything identifiable has been removed?
