Perforated memory

Video art "Perforated memory" by Mikhail Basov featuring an improvised soundtrack by Roman Stolyar (piano, electronic instruments, recorder) and Edyta Fil (flute, percussion, noise effects). The premiere of the videoinstallation took place at the Moscow International Festival of Actual Music "The Other Space" in 2010. The work is based on the photomaterials and film footages which were found on the coast of the Taganrog Gulf close to the fishing village of Bogudoniya. The shots depict a family who used to live there in 1950-1960s.
