Torso with Houses and Circles

This painting is based on photographs from encyclopedia from the 1970s. Again my interest is the (im)possibility of the link between historic realities and the representations thereof, yet now I wish to disruption of the illusionary space--through the questioning of the possibility of the unified vantage point--while simultaneous upholding the image's role as a conveyor of meaning.
