I also want to be beautiful

The aim of creating this sequence of self-portraits is to expose the sense of fake beauty which is imposed by western culture that we live in. The real human’s body is too savage to be widely accepted so we are ashamed of own biological conditions. As the society only admires determined type of outlook, people work hard to fulfill common expectations. Especially women find themselves under pressure which brings a pain.

According to social surveys, woman who is not attractive experiences more difficulties in everyday life. If so, I also want to be beautiful.
