Story of a Wall
Since 1980; bloody wars continue in Iraq. Millions of people were killed, injured, disabled, while nearly four million Iraqis fled for their lives. Cities and buildings were destroyed, trees and orchards burned. In every house, there is a victim of the long continuing wars; The 8 years Iran-Iraq war; The First Gulf War waged by a coalition force from 34 nations led by the United States, against Iraq. The 1991 uprisings in Iraq during the aftermath of the Gulf War, During the few months tens of thousands of people were killed, while nearly two million Iraqis fled for their lives. The sanctions were a near total financial and trade embargo imposed by the U.N.S.C. on Iraq. They began 1990, stayed largely in force until 2003.
Estimates of excess civilian deaths during of the sanctions over 1.5 million.
The 2003 invasion of Iraq, led by U.S. army, began under the codename "Operation Iraqi Liberation"!
The post war, more than 250,000 civilian killed from violence.
The story of this wall; is a very simplified and abstract, trying to shorten the long years of wars and killing of people and destroying of everything .Is there something deadliest of this tragedy? Why do I paint? Lines and colors cannot tell. What can I say? Words cannot.
