Starting from a photograph taken by myself (Antonio Pagano) of Iggy Pop live at the Olympic Stadium in Rome (1995 circa). I was asked to submit an artwork as part of a live music eventand artist collective call called Pop Porn.Something could represent my work. I created this 'Iggy Pop -anatomy of a living superhero- img 1' it is also part of my ongoing interest to do a dream project on Iggy Pop. The triangle is an eleemnt of the Pop culture and can have many interpretation and seen as metaphor of it all. There is also a subtle humor.I feel the same way Iggy has used it very recently(ref.Ad campaign).
