Ciao carlo, molto grazie, your English is better than my Italian, and I lived in rome once. Thank you for your comments, I actually based that work on a photograph I found in a market in Venice, I am now working on a series of similar paintings made from found photos from all over the world. Beutiful, it seems me a painting in perfect style of 1930-1945 italian movement named "Novecento italiano", also known in the others country of Europe as "Magic realism". As it was in in this movement, you paint people in a realistic style, but they are also painted in a static pose and on damping background, and this give to the ensemble a metaphisic caracter. Compliments, really very beautiful
