Outside In

This sculpture, consists of a number of copies of a landscape photograph, ( printed on acetate) suspended within a frame, (made from thin wire and covered in rough twine).
The photograph, taken at sunrise, one winter morning, was taken through a window, which distorted / abstracted the image in the early morning light.
This in turn, through the sculpture, has become a meditation on the fragility of what we call reality, based on observation, and which is so easily distorted and confused by our limited perceptions and need to categorise the physical world. Which is more 'real'... the physical image, or the light through which we observe the image?
The sculpture is invisibly suspended.
