Vapor Machine

A colonial American “vapor machine” touted by inventor Dr. Hyaza Kyte which claimed to cure all manner of illnesses. It was reportedly used by Ben Franklin before his infamous outdoor incident in a thunderstorm. Those observing Franklin said he “was of extraordinarily good humor” and “giggled like a schoolgirl” despite his dangerous behavior.
