Stardust


Starry skies,
And butterflies,
And pastel rainbow dreams,

Truth, unwelcome visitor,
Is never what it seems,

Tales retold,
And so believed,

Lies resold,
Lives reprieved,

The Unicorn,
The Loving Wife,
The Word revealed,
The Pious Life,

If stories heal
The soul that's torn,

We must believe
The Unicorn.
