A Celebration of Love (Modified)

It was the day of 29th April 2011 when people gathered on the streets of London to celebrate the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The painting captures a snapshot of the many joyous moments of the day. As much as this occasion was about celebrating a happy time in the lives of the Royal family, to me, it was above all else, a celebration of love; uniting two people in a bond of a lifetime. Such lifetime marriages happen to millions around the world, and each one of them must be celebrated to the utmost, if not as grand as the Royal wedding.

The manner in which the crowd has been painted reflects the blurry and unfocused view any spectator would have while looking at a crowd.
