hi Hanna , it is by pencil 2B, but I got effect like charcoal. I guess you do your idea with charcoal or pastel/chalk.

fascinating..did you draw it with charcoal stick?? am thinking of drawing a portrait of my friend for his birthday (though not am great at it, and only did a few art related projects for http://acewriters.org/ --still gonna git it a try) but am not sure what's better for a beginner to use..any recommendations??
