The digitally created project strives to interpret the timelessness of human condition through the juxtaposition of the portraits by Italian Old Masters against modern day fashion/gossip magazines.
The original painting is gradually replaced with the photographic image of a female model which is subjected to additional moulding and wrapping process in order to adjust to exact proportion and likeness of the original portrait.
Other elements are added, partially painted and blended by digital brush only as there is no 3D software involved.
The stylized magazine front page helps to complete a “timeless look”.
