Epifania [Epiphany]
It was named Epiphany because it was painted to give shape to an idea of manifestation. There is a sense of well-being and tranquility. But it's also hypnotic.
It has a captivating and provocative look, arresting the eye of the beholder.
Because of the dimension, it has some interesting painting characteristics. Broad strokes, forming large areas of paint. An extremely soft color palette, composing a painting of rare sensitivity. And, as in other paintings, blurred areas, within the same subtle focus of representation.
I believe strongly in this look, "window of the soul," which says nothing and speaks everything. A look of search and at the same time of complacency. An inviting look of hope, lightness and peace. Everything else in the picture is painted gently, in some ways even, just hinted at. Some shades, soft light, little definition ... just the eyes ...
