GRAINS OF LIFE

GRAINS OF LIFE, 2017 is a remnant of live performances that has been created during two residences at the Project78 Gallery in St. Leonards in 2016 and 2017. In 2016 public has been invited to count grains of rice. During this 7 days performance over one hundred thousand grains of rice were counted. In February 2017 the counted rice has been revisited in the light of the birth of my first child. Over 7 days, by the process of gluing grains of rice one by one, one after another to the wall, I was investigating how my personal reality has changed, has and to what extend my body and mind strengthen or weakened.
