The Trading Project: An Installation about Longing, Goats Milk, Whale Blubber, Crude Oil, Honey, Chant
This is a long duration installation and performance project. The project would be a series of negotiations and trades. Goats Milk is traded for Honey, Honey is traded for Crude Oil, Crude Oil is traded for Live Folk Songs, Whale Blubber ... The performative aspects (the parts with an audience, that have a 60 minute duration, would be goat milking and honey rendering. Other negotiations (trades for oil, honey, caribou meat, timber, etc) would be documented as photographs and video.
