Birthgiver

“Birthgiver” is about the undeniable need to share one’s inner world. It is almost as if we don’t have a choice in the matter, as what is inside us is determined to become an independent entity. What starts as an amorphous, vague idea wants to take form, to be born into the world. The creator must succumb to the process, which brings both ecstasy and despair. As the creation is gathering strength, the creator loses some of himself. The newly born takes centre stage, and becomes independent from its creator.
