In the digital era, virtual images and written words are the means of crystallization of our individual and collective memory. This digital archive, produced by our individual experience, shapes popular culture through its many layers of information. The immediacy of the individual event is what makes it rapidly become part of the past, that is, to become part of an archive. But what if it would be possible to crystallize a moment of individual or collective memory in between these layers of information?

The ubiquitous use of cameras, built according to scientific and technical principles, are easy to handle but most everyone does not fathom the process one provokes when pressing the shutter release. By inserting words and text fragments ( inspired by the original image or taken directly from the news headlines) into the code of these files, the digital DNA of the captured moment becomes fragmented in an unplanned manner. The resulting effect is a glitch, an unique artifact. This corrupted digital information is what he paints.
