Manhattan
“Irritated nerves often appear in my painting. The boundaries between the virtual and actual are blurred in digital age and our consciousness is being rearranged. Vibrating restlessly, the nerves explore the city-spaces. My images create a hedonic effect like playing a video-game. Bold and dynamic compositions across imaginal spaces aim to give pleasure. However, there is another suggestion of lonely ecstatic dancers struggling in a destructive system yet seeking tangents to integrate. The tentacles wander aimlessly across hyperbolic space, they intertwine with external pressure and also remain self-fulfilling.”
