Fragments

This is a series of 9 paintings under the title Fragments. Deals with the structuring of the composition, the colour and the texture.I am probing relationships between connection and separation, similarity and difference, balance and gravity.
For these series of paintings I have also studied concepts such as reconstruction , origin and redefinition.
The idea to exclude something from the environment ( by cutting it) and repositioning it near another solid form creating a new meaning or even searching for it is for me charming and challenging at the same time.
