This project is about the political and social situation in Peru, with difficulty they are trying to stand out from the other countries of South America.
There are many different social problems and the gap between poverty and wealth is still wide.
In many villages close to Cusco - such as Ollantaytambo or Patachancha - the society is still set on an old way, where women are staying at home weaving and raising children, and men do heavy jobs. On Amantani and Taquile islands agriculture is run manually with animals and with handmade tools.
Apart from big cities, poverty is spread almost everywhere and children have almost nothing to play with and they have literally one or two sets of clothes to wear.
During my visit in Peru I photographed and documented the situation in 2016 focusing my attention to children. This project it has been made in order to call a moment of reflection on how little we can do to help other countries and on how much we waste in terms of water, electricity and natural resources.
