Generation after generation, some cultures continue the tradition of indirect cannibalism. In a still more wicked and insidious way, and in various ways, they feed their population at the cost of the lives of individuals from different cultures.
All those who are part of that custom and take advantage of it « unconsciously » have a tendency to denial, giving longevity to that custom and preventing it from extinguishing.
This cultural custom, specific to civilized populations, is really interesting sociologically speaking and therefore deserves fully deeper studies.
