I developed a project based on death masks. This ancient technique was created to permanently record the features of death people and allowed them to remain in some way among the living.
I decided to use this ancient technique on living subjects. Then I took pictures of the masks.
I’m interested in encouraging the encounter of people with their own image and give them the possibility to see the impossible: their own death image. Their own last image.
