10 centímos

This installation was made through the process of repetition by which I was able to comprehend the reasons behind my work.
The urge of obsessively reproduce this coin arose after my father gave it to me while saying, “Look! It’s shiny”, reminding me that I used to collect shiny coins as a child.
I now understand this project to be the result of a need to reconnect with my past by means of a seemingly worthless objet.
