"Daruma"

Daruma, coma la tradizionale bambola giapponese, rappresenta un desiderio profondo, una volontà da realizzare che viene dalla parte più profonda dell'animo. Lo sguardo della donna è rivolto al desiderio espresso che vede realizzarsi poco a poco con il suo solo occhio, poiché, come da tradizione, solo quando questo sarà realizzato completamente si potrà disegnare anche l'altro occhio. Per quanto il suo animo venga scosso e urtato, lei rimarrà sempre in piedi.

Daruma, as the traditional Japanese doll, represents a deep desire, the will to be accomplished that comes from the depth of one's soul.
