"For the originality of the artwork and the social message that emphasises the interaction between technology and life pointing out the fact that the technology doesn't often improve life but it is useful only for economic purposes.
I specificy that the coins of European Union on the left side of this picture, are on the artwork not for their function and there are not references to conis euro, but only for their commemorative design appearing on them.
One of these design is italian symbol, that was created in 2007 for the 50th years of the Treaties of Rome but it wants to remind also the event that was celebrated for the 60th anniversary of this Treaties ( as Daniel participated in may 2017 to the exhibition “Europ’ Arte” organized with a cultural twinning between Italy and France and some EU countries in memory of these treaties and he would want to continue to this anniversary and to share it to other nations of Union by his participation to other shows).
The other symbol of the Є2 portuguese coin was created in 2008 for the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and it was choised from Daniel01 to commemorate with it also the Lisbon Treaty ( called also Reform Treaty) signed in 2007 that strengthened Treaties of Rome really of the democratic principle and with the guardianship of the fundamental rights.
However the image of Lithuanian coin created in 2015 (same year this artistic works had been created) wants to remember both that capital Vilnius of Lithuania is in this year the city of the European culture, and the linguistic identity of this nation that is one of the fundamental cultural elements that it distinguishes the people and makes the history of it ( his dialects are also in Poland, another country of the European Union).
Besides the word AĈIŪ that means "thanks" in Lithuanian language, it recalls to the writings that are on the artwork in my mother language and it can ideally accompany them also
Daniel can also gain with this symbol of AĈIŪ the attention on the children that are the center of this artwork and on the fairy tales told in this language and to give them the priority over the economic interests in general.
The Work Vita e Tecnologia is winning in 2016 the " First Prize Tre Torri "at the "Museum of Castello di Mola" in Messina and a plaque with this awarding:
