Anthropological Dèrive

I wanted to capture the moment of life as it is : that brief second of what is happening before our eyes, around us, noticed or unnoticed, as the human life goes on regardless.
The "presence" lies among us and , as a voyeur , observes us with an effect of estrangement ( manifested through the pixels of a phone's camera ) , even in the most profane moments .
The photographs lack discipline and order, like those that you would see on social media like Facebook or Twitter.
Some of you may even delete them without any further due , deciding that there is no artistic value.
But I see something in them !

The photos are taken in the most discreet way , without any distortion or involvement of the scene, and naturally , without the subjects knowing the presence of the camera.
I refuse any form of post-production , so only the truthfulness of the moment is captured trough each photographs.

For instance , we can see some street workers staring at the beam of light , so dearly , as if the spirit is endowing a glimpse of ecstasy to the least holy place.
Two elder men sitting in front of a computer , looking at a penis ( not being aware of my presence ) with the portrait in front of them monitoring them .
A homeless man dedicating an installation to his deceased friend.
A woman holding a cow , endlessly waiting for Godot .

Such situations not only reveal the irony , but also the cruelty that lies beneath the human lives.
