Anatomia Del Colore

The series ‘Anatomia del colore’ explores my artistic preoccupation with life and death, sickness and health; created after watching a number of medical procedures. The techniques of the doctors allowed me to see deep into the workings of the human body, and made me think both about how I was formed as a man and how, as an artist, I might employ parallel methods to convey my response. In these photographic images; the paint, colour and tools, which are such a deep-rooted part of my life as an artist; morph into the very essence of what forms me as a human.
