Card-human
Prelude: I started to work on my project-series called „Cards in space” in 2007.
The format of the blank cards are parallel to the shape of credit cards, telephone-cards, and ID
cards, which are the indispensable materials of our present society.
These small-sized cards became personal accessories for everyone. Examining the artwork’s
cards in space, I realized the visual possibilities of these in my experiments. The location of
these materials in space, and the emerging space context creates new connection points.
This artwork refers to the fact that an average citizen can be identified with these everyday
cards.
