Is an intaglio etching on 2 sheets held together by a chine colle circle of stained japanese paper. Both these prints are made on zinc and etched then printed in gold/black. They are held together by the circle of paper .The drawing came from a small section of a National Geographic photograph of the Japan Tsunami 2011. My work deals with disasters and remote mapping of global events drawn or etched meticulously, spending time re drawing these events re focuses these images and re engages them.
