Full Circle

In regards to the previous body of work it begins with a sketch of geometric shapes in a journal. The sketch, in ink & gouache, is then translated onto a large scale canvas in oil paint. After the oil painting is complete, the design is then used to influence the painting of the face and body of a model.The model is then photographed. The last phase of the series is choosing one of the photographs to enlarge on canvass, with acrylic mediums. The end result is a three part series of work done in Oil on canvass, Photography, and Acrylic on canvass. This painting illustrates the second stage of the project; "The large geometric oil painting".
