Je n'écrirai pas beaucoup de livres (Exhibition view)

This is an exhibition view of Room I at McClure Gallery (Montreal). The exhibition "Je n'écrirai pas beaucoup de livres" ("I won't write many books") regroups a large body of works made from a wide variety of materials.
In this room, wrapping and shipping materials are included in two of the works "Healthy body, sick mind" (central crate sculpture) and "Regularly" (ceramic block and blue tarp sculpture). Through my day job as an art handler, I often find shipping containers and wrapping to be part of the work itself. Through manipulation and displaying technique, I challenged myself in these works to integrate and display them as part of the exhibition.
