BLACKTANGULAR

BLACKTANULAR shows a use of black and white acrylic paint with colored washes and vivid color accents. Generally I am more involved with a "brighter" palette but I really enjoy the graphic contrast I achieved in this painting. Again I feel satisfied that I have succeeded in creating depth through the use of color and geometric shapes. My ultimate goal is to take a 2-dimensional surface such as a canvas and turn it into as many dimensions as I can.
