Channel Z

My work has, for most of my working life, been about light and shadow, as it falls onto man-made structures. This recent body of work has focused on a small blown-up section of what I would normally use as my source material. By paring down the visual area, the viewer is forced to decipher not only what the shapes are, but which part of the subject is the negative and which is the positive, forcing more attention onto the formal aspects and suggesting new rhythms and patterns.
