Alabaster Beauty

My work is about beauty and perfection hidden and faded, removing foundations of a face to leave key features used to identify the subject allowing a viewer to us their imagination to discover where the subject begins or ends. There were no preconceptions as to how the images will turn out; they are created from the relationship emerging in the space between the camera and the sitter. This formulated a trust so that the subjects could completely relax and allow the exposure to slowly, subtly reveal personalities and beauty.
