This portfolio is a visual research inspired by my deep relation with sea, with ancestral and mother embrace by water in infinite blue.
The work based on several shooting in the Tirreno sea in Italy, 20 miles far from the coast, is based on aesthetic features where, in a monochromatic context not simple to realize, looks into trough marks, compositions and suitable and soft harmonies.
Though the subject, the sea, has a certain recognizability, composition reminds typical themes of abstractionism and spatiality. Splitting of original subject in parts produces new forms following visions and goads of fantasy. A rhapsody of shapes and vibrations, a real (?) rhapsody in blue.
