two promotional videos for soprano xymena skowron and 'trio elisabetta de gambarini'. the first video suggest to be made of worn footage. some of the images were taken at a re-enactment of aspects of worldwar 2 which took place in goes, the netherlands. images of railroad machinery were taken along a museumline near the same town of goes. the second video consists mainly of images taken at the cimetière de louyat in limoges, france. the music, arias by composers from the baroque era, was recorded at a performance in the anglican church in the hague, the netherlands, in november 2013. the title refers to a character in the novel 'a very private life' by michael frayn.
