"The Bite"

When young, I was attacked by dogs.
They left me scarred.
Those scars have become the revealing companions of the man I now am.

"The Bite" is a sprayed drawing executed with a syringe from a series about fears and fantasies of being overcome and seduced by something more powerful – liberated by the fury of a beast or fellow man.
It documents a personal mythology of penetration and violation of constraints that is both dreaded and desired.
