Tachyon+

This work was composed by running simple geometric compositions out of after effects into a Tachyon + Fun 21 analogue video distortion unit. The work is a combination of both high definition digital and standard definition analogue processes which lend it a retro feel. The combination of filming the process directly from a monitor and seeking out analogue video artefacts has allowed me to move away from the smooth and polished finish of work specifically with After Effects. The sound was produced on a Roland SH-01 and 'field' records captured whilst I was recording the individual video elements. I also used the sample of a triangle from Matmos' track in search of a Lost Faculty, which was built from the results of ESP experiments.
