Emotional Body-Awakening_1

The Mutable Body: Awakening, is an installation of three sculptures, two standing and one sitting across from each other. The sculptures along with their meaningful placement define the space and the viewer’s individual emotional/intellectual response. the gauze and lumber that surround the body are the metaphorical and physical boundaries that contain and constrict the self, (social mores, preconceived notions, stereotypes). These boundaries are the challenge we must overcome to develop our innate spiritual identity and potential.
