Nimbus

Disegnare le nuvole e condurle a portata di mano, come un gioco, è il tentativo di rammentarsi del cielo, metaforico e non, che spesso dimentichiamo. Lo sguardo è ormai basso e i limiti sono sempre più standardizzati: incollato al pc, al telefono, ad un tablet, alla tv… Le nuvole, invece, non hanno confini e quelli che a noi paiono essere tali, sono sempre variabili. Ad esse lo sguardo affida la sua immaginazione e diviene desiderio di libertà.
Nimbus – l’installazione prevede un minimo di 3 nubi di dimensioni variabili (min. 150 x 150 x 140 cm c.a.). A terra o sospese, esse possono essere disperse nello spazio o assemblate dai visitatori così da creare dei cumulonembi. Possono, inoltre, essere abitate. Il visitatore è regista del proprio cielo.

Draw the clouds and give them at the visitor. It’s like a play to remember the real and symbolic sky. The contemporary eye is low and lives like a square. Tablet, phone, TV, PC… are the our visual boundary. The clouds have no limits and they are always variables. When we look at clouds, we give them our imagination. They become a freedom desire.
Nimbus – This installation requires minimum three clouds (the smallest one is about 150 x 150 x 140 cm). They can lay on the floor or be suspended. They can be dispersed in the space or assembled by visitor: he can create cumulonimbus clouds. The visitor can experience the clouds inside. He is director of his sky
