WINTRY NIGHT

A recollection of walking through the calm streets of my hometown in northern ontario on a cold wintry night. The cool teal colour represents the calm, tranquility and still of the night with the chilliness in the air. The white fluid lines convey the falling of the snow and the movement of the wind, it also represents the purity and refreshing feeling of winter. The black bars symbolize the night while the black fluid lines represent the smoke coming from the wood burning stoves, the warmth that would soon envelope me from my own stove is suggested by the red accents.
