Il Respiro delle Foreste (The Breath of the Forests)
Currently, the forests preserve 80% of the world's biodiversity, and they are a source of livelihood for more than a billion people and the largest carbon sink in the world. These great resources can lead humanity to achieve important goals such as poverty, climate change reduction, and the realization of a sustainable development.
In The Breath of the Forests, through a series of signs that remind an ECG, I link both formally and chromatically human breath with the multicolored wood pieces hanging on the wall and with the objects on the floor in order to highlight the fact that human beings and the forests live in an invisible but very deep relationship: in fact without the breath of the forests human beings cannot breathe
