Through The Quiet Axis, All the roads are circular

The installation THROUGH THE QUIET AXIS, ALL THE ROADS ARE CIRCULAR is a inspired by the concept of the revolution, whereas it is in the planets or in the society: how things change their axis and rotates.
Félicia Atkinson offers an installation in several elements – watercolours, large canvases, sculptures, a book – made up of various materials: wood, clay, paper, silk, archival images…. With this installation, the artist deals with themes such as the issue of the loop, the metamorphosis of a drawing into a sculpture, the wavelength, abstraction, the transfer from the studio to the exhibition space, luck, imagination, improvisation as an object, the plan, the threshold.
